2024 Legislative Session Preview & Landlord/Tenant Law Update

During this meeting, we will cover the newest Oregon laws for landlords like new rent increase limits, non-payment terminations, serving notices electronically, and a new housing inventory requirements that may allow for incentives for developers. We will go over the details of all the new laws including forms to use and best practices. We will also preview the legislative short session in Salem and issues they are tackling and potential impacts on real estate investments and other relevant bills

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS
Christian Bryant is a 20-year veteran in the real estate industry, having worked in real estate finance, property management, and real estate education. He owns IRC Real Estate & Property Management with offices in Portland Bend and also RPM Education. He serves as president of the Central Oregon Real Estate Investors Association and the Northwest Real Estate Investors Association, both local chapters of the National Real Estate Investors Association. He is also president of the Portland Area Rental Owners Association, a local chapter of the Oregon Rental Housing Association. Patrick Sieng has over 10 years experience as both a lobbyist in the State Capitol and as a real estate broker. He owns Sieng Enterprises, a lobbying and government/business consulting firm, and Capitol Real Estate. He serves as executive director of the Central Oregon Real Estate Investors Association and the Northwest Real Estate Investors Association, both local chapters of the National Real Estate Investors Association.
